  • Position Overview

    Title: Logistics Services - Mid Level

    Location: Yongsan Army Garrison, Seoul, Korea


    The candidate shall have knowledge and experience on processes and procedures involving Supply Discipline Program, property accountability, hand receipt, inventories, purchasing, and installation property book.


    The successful candidate qualifications shall include but are not limited to the following:

    • Shall assist/collect all supply and equipment requests and supporting documents, review and recommend changes to documents, requisition supplies and equipment, track requisitions, deliveries, receive and stock supplies and equipment until issued and/or property accountability is established.
    • Shall check, account for, report discrepancies, and recommend rejecting or accepting supplies, services and equipment on Material Inspection and Receiving Report (DD Form 250).
    • Shall reconcile and submit DD Form 250 and supporting documents to the Installation Property Book office, Government Purchase Cardholder, and/or appropriate budget analyst for processing.
    • Shall update and maintain a requisition register for services and supply (aggregate) purchases, and for each non-expendable accountable item for items requisitioned, received and issued. The contractor shall maintain issue record for all operating and office supplies.
    • Shall assist in maintaining accountability of all nonexpendable property, fuel keys and cellular phones on Army Hand Receipts (DA Form 2062) lAW with regulations and policies.
    • Shall maintain all documents for USFK J2 sub-hand receipt holders.
    • Shall assist in conducting property book and sensitive items inventories.
    • Shall process and track division supply purchase requests through SSSC and GSA.
    • Shall conduct market research by coordinating with local vendors and online sources and work through Government representative, such as GPC cardholders/billing officials and local contracting to facilitate the purchase of supplies, furniture and equipment in support of USFK J2.
    • Shall prepare and complete historical cost analysis for supplies and official cell phones.
    • Shall maintain and provide for receipt of all incoming and outgoing shipments and organizational turn-ins.
    • Shall maintain supply office records and files in accordance with DIA policies and procedures.
    • Shall coordinate with internal and external activities, property book officers, budget personnel, contracting personnel and acquisition management office.
    • Shall coordinate with the Korean Support Command for various 12 office moves and tum-ins.
    • Shall organize and assist in securing the J2 Supply Storage Room and maintain accountability of office supplies, printer cartridges/toner, payments, general office supplies, durable expendable items, property and items in accordance with regulations and policy.
    • Shall review cellular telephones monthly bills, refer discrepancies, and recommend payment for valid billing to the government

    Qualifications Required: 

    Security Clearance:  TS

    Special Access:  SCI

    Polygraph:  Must be able to pass a CI poly

    Education:   Bachelor’s Degree

    Experience:  4-6 years task related experience, or, no degree but specialized training and 4-8 years task related experience, or, equivalent intelligence/academic experience


    Additional Qualifications Desired:

    Master’s degree

    Current CI poly

    Military Experience

    Possess a valid state driver's license
